He purposely drops his “Death Note” to the human world where it just so happens to be found by Light Yagami. As he is perplexed he realizes that this book has powers. Once the name of a person is written into this book and the image of his/her face is in your head, within 40 seconds he will die of a heat attack unless another cause is specified (more rules found in every episode). So, L Lawliet, the worlds most famous detective is on the case to find out who is behind these killings.

Review:

I know I haven’t seen this anime in years but I remember it soooo clearly!! This anime is THE best mystery anime I have ever seen. Everything in this anime is awesome. I really love the suspense, the story line, the characters. And don’t get me started on the characters, I’m a guy but I would definitely turn the other way for Light or L and Misa is sooo cutee!! This anime always kept me excited and wondering what was gonna happen next. What I also feel is that after episode 25 the anime became…. kindaaaaaaa…. boring. Not saying it was deadly boring or utterly boring but just not as interesting as the first 25 episodes. (I’m not gonna spoil anything!). The opening was just mehh! But the story line still blows my mind and I can just imagine like a 100 different ways the story could’ve ended. What was especially amazing, sad, horrible and a huge mix of emotions was the ending of the anime which just blew my mind! Great starter anime. Definitely recommend it to everyone (even non- anime watchers)! Overall amazing!!

Rating:

I would give this anime 4/5 stars.

The first two sentences is definitely going to become your own catchphrase. I’m calling it!

Other than that. Awesome review. I have yet to really put a start to this show as seeing the episode count had me feel slightly iffy. I have Steins;Gate to blame for that, honestly.
