The story travels around Tetsuya Kuroko, a 16 year old boy who loves to play basketball. He used to play for the ‘Generation of Miracles'(GOM) in middle school, the strongest team in the entire Tokyo.

After middle school finishes all the members of the GOM part ways and go to different high schools to see who would turn out to be the best. Kuroko joins a school called Seirin where he joins the school team. Here he meets a special player, Taiga Kagami. He is the ace and power forward of the Seirin team. Together, Kuroko and Kagami form the dream combo. But using the whole team to their advantage, they are able to unlock a new generation of Seirin! Together, the team joins the ‘Inter-High’ and the ‘Winter Cup’ and challenges the rest of the schools to reach the top!

Ok so let me start off by saying, this is another old anime re-reviewed. Also, this is the first anime that I ever watched about 2-3 years ago after my friends forced me and finally got me to watch it. Before this I thought anime was horrible. This is my BEST anime (like no. 1 on my list). Also, this anime inspired me to play basketball and is mostly the reason I am on the school team! Haha!

Ok, so, after watching the whole show, you begin to realize how boring the first season is. The first season is all about introduction to different members of the GOT, different teams etc. There are a few matches which seem pretty cool and awesome at first but really lame and boring after. If I remember correctly, the Inter High took place in the first season and it was amazing. It isn’t a very predictable anime but like I said in my other review it is very similar to Haikyuu!! (check it out) The second season get’s wayyyyyy better. Here they introduce this thing called zone which most people tell me is a super power but it’s actually just a way to show how focussed someone is at that point of time. The only reason it looks like a super power is because of the visual effects. A great season with a surprising end to the Inter High. Thus enters the Winter Cup. The best tournament and competition I have seen in sporting anime. The battles between Kagami (and Kuroko) against the other GOM members in zone is absolutely nerve-racking. The suspense is crazyy! The battles are even better. The second season is really the one that gets you stuck  to the anime. Then the third season rolls in. Oh my god. Speechless. The only season that got me so hyped that I cried when the show was over. An amazing end that really opened up the show for a season 4 which they made into a movie. Honestly, the second and third season just have sooo many feels and moments where you get hyped. After every episode I was just like, “I GOTTA GO PLAY SOME BALL NOW!!”. All the opening are really good and so are the endings. I wouldn’t really suggest this anime to everyone but I would to all those who love sports, especially basketball. UGHHHH I remember watching this anime’s episodes once a week with my friends when it used to come out. We would meet up every morning at like 7 and then watch then new KNB episode. It is soooo fun to watch, especially with friends. SUPER entertaining. It has its own times for comedy and seriousness. Lol, one of my longest reviews. Well, considering it’s my favorite anime you can’t expect less. MUST WATCH! Overall too god damn good! (Also my favorite GOM is Murasakibara if anyone was curious) .

I would give this anime 4.5/5 stars.
