Riverdale (Season 1): TV Show

Hey guys, how’s it going? Rahul here coming in with a brand new blog. Hope everyone has had an amazing week. Mine has been pretty decent. The school stress hasn’t really gotten to me yet (unless I’m already probably dead inside). Here’s a question for everybody! What did you do this week that you regret? Comment it and share your experiences! It’ll be fun! Let’s begin!

This drama, mystery show was based on characters from Archie comics and was aired in January, 2017.

No. of episodes: 13

  • Archibald “Archie” Andrews (KJ Apa)
  • Elizabeth “Betty” Cooper (Lili Reinhart)
  • Veronica Lodge (Camila Mendes)
  • Forsythe “Jughead” Jones III (Cole Sprouse)
  • Hermione Lodge (Marisol Nichols)
  • Cheryl Blossom (Madelaine Petsch)
  • Alice Cooper (Mädchen Amick)
  • Frederick “Fred” Andrews (Luke Perry)

After the murder of Jason Blossom, the entire Riverdale is shook. The town not being safe anymore is a major concern for everyone. In the midst of romance, family problems, drama and a lot more, a group of friends come together to try finding out who is responsible for the murder.

Starting off, I am really glad my friends pushed me towards this show ’cause it was actually pretty damn good. If anything this show reminded me so much about scooby-doo and their crazy mysteries with a slight twist of reality. This show didn’t surprise me when it came to drama and romance that we see in all American television but it really did surprise me in the mystery which was completely unexpected until the last few episodes. The show always kept you thinking it was 2-3 people but the last 3 episodes really got it clear. I appreciate the good music. My favorite character (like everyone else) was Jughead (Cole Sprouse). He was fantastic in this. One major problem I had with this show was the fact that they deviated way too far from the actual Jason murder mystery and focused way too much on the internal family problems for each and every character. On the other hand, I loved the suspense. It was the main driving factor for me. If anything, this show was a real entertainment and was great fun to watch. There were some age inappropriate that weren’t all too bad. The ending really had me at awe and excited for the upcoming season 2! I would definitely recommend this. Overall great!

I would give this show 4/5 stars.
