Hey guys, how’s it going? Rahul here coming in with brand new blog. Hope everyone’s week is going well. Back in Hyderabad, so back to school! So let’s begin.

This adventure, action, fantasy was written by Eiichiro Oda and was first aired in July, 1998.

No. of episodes: 17 (per review)

Characters: (mainly now):

  • Monkey D. Luffy
  • Roronoa Zoro
  • Nami
  • Usopp
  • Buggy
  • Jango
  • Kuro

A treasure left behind by a rich king after his death called ‘one piece’ is being sought after by all pirates around the world.

Luffy is one of those newly formed pirates in search of a crew to help him find the treasure and be crowned “Pirate King”. On the way to find new crew mates he encounters various other pirates and battles them.

For now, he has found Zoro, Nami and Ussop.

Let me start off my saying, I do not regret starting this anime at all. From the very first episode itself this anime has truly entertained me and kept me engaged always wanting to see more. All the way from Luffy’s and Nami’s introduction, to finding and accepting Zoro to defeating Captain Buggy and Captain Kuro and accepting Ussop, the anime is so much fun. It is just a punch of joy and entertainment all throughout. The fight scenes so far have been so much fun and goofy mostly. I am loving the story and concept so far. The fight between Kuro and Luffy was really cool and the Ussop arc was really touching especially at the end. The opening is enjoyable and the ending is calming. The animation is pretty damn good for an anime made in 1998. Wonderfully portrayed. Characters with awesome personalities. If anything, Nami’s character is just a bit annoying but it’s not much of a problem. I am really excited to see more and would definitely recommend this. Overall awesome.

I would give these episodes of the anime 4/5 stars.
