You Don’t Mess With The Zohan: Movie

Hey guys, how’s it going? Rahul here coming in with a brand new blog. Hope everyone has had an amazing week. Sorry for the late post. Exams coming up and there’s just so much to study and I have a project to complete. Really hectic week. So, lets begin.

This action, comedy was directed by Dennis Dugan and was released in June, 2008.

Duration: 1 hour 52 minutes (112 minutes)]

  • Zohanelen “Zohan” Dvir/Scrappy Coco (Adam Sandler)
  • Fatoush “Phantom” Hakbarah (John Turturro)
  • Dalia Hakbarah (Emmanuelle Chriqui)
  • Grant Walbridge (Michael Buffer)
  • Salim (Rob Schneider)

A super-human Israeli counter terrorist, Zohan, decides its finally time to settle down and get away from all the violence. So, he moves to New York to start a new life as a hair stylist making a Palestainian as the new power villain.  At the same time Zohan must go against Grant Walbridge who wishes to tear down the community and make it into a mall.

This movie is literally the peak of Adam Sandler movies. You can’t ask for a better comedy movie. This movie is so god damn funny. It is just so random that you can’t bear but laugh. Adam Sandler really out did himself when it came to “becoming one with the role”. I literally didn’t even know it was Adam Sandler until later on. His accent, his costume, all complimented the role perfectly. This movie is the perfect example of why comedy is at the top of my favorite movie genres. Also, his character was just awesome. Super strong mixed with super funny mixed with a little bit of romance. The Phantom was also really funny with his weak personality. A weak story, but when it comes to comedy I guess the story matters way lesser that the jokes and this movie lived up to that level. The movie in itself was not that good but the comedy definitely made up for it. It is the perfect movie to watch at a sleepover or with all your friends. I would definitely recommend this movie. Can’t really say much but the fact that it is super funny! Overall hilarious.

I would give this movie 3.5/5 stars.
