Here Comes The Boom: Movie

Hey guys, how’s it going? Rahul here coming in with a brand new blog. Hope everyone’s week is going amazing. I finally feel relaxed but have to get ready for the next academic year. So, now I’m starting this new system from next week where movie reviews every Wednesday and anime or tv show reviews every Sunday. Let’s begin!

This comedy, action was directed by Frank Coraci and was released in October, 2012.

Duration: 1 hour 45 mins (105 minutes)

  • Scott Voss (Kevin James)
  • Bella Flores (Salma Hayek)
  • Marty Streb (Henry Winkler)
  • Principal Betcher (Greg Germann)
  • Niko (Bas Rutten)

Scott Voss is a high school biology teacher who doesn’t really enjoy his job. But, when school funds are becoming lesser, the school is forced to start closing down clubs. To prevent the music club from closing Scott becomes a great teacher and turns to professional wrestling to earn money and save the schools’ music program.

Considering I’m free these days, I’ve been watching a lot of funny movies at night. It’s enjoyable and all but only because I’m bored. This movie is a perfect example of one you should watch when you are bored. A weak plot line with some weak acting as well. If anything was good of this movie it would have to be the comedy, fights and music. Everything else was definitely below average But, I guess you really can’t expect more in Kevin James movie. The fights weren’t actually AMAZING. It did feel nice initially when he was losing and got his first win. But later on it just became full nonsense where she even became a champion. Man, the movie was so unrealistic that it added to the comedy. Another one of those movies, obviously, where happy endings are a must. I guess comedy and good music usually go hand in hand. I honestly don’t even know what to write for this review. No need to watch this movie. Wouldn’t recommend it. Overall meh.

I would give this movie 2/5 stars.
