Hey guys, how’s it going? Rahul here coming in with a brand new blog. Hope everyone has had an amazing week. With exams coming up next week, I’ve been super busy. So, let’s begin.
I needed a break from all the mainstream anime that I’ve been watching and needed to watch something new from this season. So, this anime was the result of me wanting to see something new and something that gives tons of feels and keeps me on the edge of my seat.
Badminton is a new sport I’ve seen in an anime. The first thing I caught on after the episode was how similar this anime is to Haikyuu. The main character being incredibly talented, same eyes as Hinata, joins same school as rival, etc.
The first episode, like most of the sports anime I watch, was very average. A lot of talking and a lot of introductions. There was one introductory match which displayed a completely one-sided game and some suspense was created for another game in episode 2.
The anime definitely had some highlights. Ayano was shown as an extremely talented badminton player with some amazing reflexes but an above average personality. I do feel this anime can give some amazing games and keep its’ audience excited.
There’s not much to talk about this first episode apart from a lot of talking. Like any other first impression, time will tell how this anime is. Overall fine.
