Avengers: Endgame: Movie: “A new beginning.”

Hey guys, how’s it going? Rahul here coming in with brand new blog. I hope everyone is having an amazing week. So, let’s begin.

The world after half the living organisms have disappeared has become dull. The remaining superheros (like everyone else) are sulking their losses and are trying every way possible to bring back their lost friends. A chance to change the action has come where they decide to travel back in time and steal all the infinity stones before Thanos has a chance to get it himself. However, Thanos would never allow such a thing to happen so easily.

Unlike the majority of people who were able to see this movie within the first few days of release, I had to wait till the 6th of May to even thing about watching this movie. I must say, avoiding spoilers couldn’t have been tougher and although I was a victim to a few spoilers, I was fortunate enough to escape a majority of them

First, coming to the concept of the plot. I found the plot to be quite weak in itself with a simple “go-back-in-past-and-change-the-future” kind of situation. Of course, if this were any other movie, I would have put this as a huge cliché negative but it was Endgame and so, I’ll let it slide.

The characters had some pretty mellow entrance scenes which riled up the crowd like crazy! Like always, it is fun to see where our superheros have left off.

Coming to the movie itself, I’ll first discuss the negatives. In India, we get an interval at around the half point of the movie which is how I can easily talk about the first and second half properly. So, the first half, I must say, was quite slow in it’s approach. There were a lot of unnecessary scenes which I feel stretched the movie out and if they were cut out then the movie would have been more to the point and meaningful. I also feel this movie lacked a lacked a lot of chance to put an amazing sound track like most Marvel movies.

Another negative of this movie would probably be how we didn’t get to see our “strongest” avengers shine (a.k.a. Hulk and Thor). Unlike Infinity War where hulk was utterly useless, he was a much calmer character in this movie which just destroys the whole essence of Hulk as a character. Also, the ending to me was just average with the whole Captain America scene (no spoilers).

Coming to the positives, this movie really lived up to its’ hype. The fight scenes were beyond fascinating and were so enjoyable to everyone watching the movie. The movie was able to put a great entrance scene for all the Avengers which totally got the crowd going wild and they action scene was wonderfully portrayed in a very easily understandable manner. The last 30-45 minutes of the movie truly made all the slower scenes worth it and I was lost for words to see all the unpredictable outcomes. The movie was able to add a lot of new iconic dialogues which I am sure people will remember for a very long time. Even the comedy was a decent amount and didn’t ruin the sad aura the movie is supposed to have.

This movie is definitely iconic and I can totally see it being a big film for a lot of people for a long time. It is a must watch in the cinema and it is sure to make you cry! I am interested to see what this endgame will bring to us or a new beginning of Marvel. Overall great!

I would give this movie 4/5 stars.
