1 YEAR ANNIVERSARY POST!!

Hey guys!!! How’s it going? Rahul here coming in with a brand new blog! Yes guys, today is my 1 year anniversary of blogging on WordPress and I’m just gonna talk to guys about my blog and about myself so, ENJOY!

 

Also, I do realize I haven’t posted in a long time and the reason is I just moved to a new place and it took some time to get the wi-fi and to unpack and settle down and so it took a while till I could get back on the blogging grind. But I’m back! So let’s begin.

 

Ok so let me tell you guys about myself first.

My name is Rahul Mody. I am 16 years old, I am in the 11th grade, I live in Hyderabad, India and I was born in Chicago. I moved to India when I was 8 years old because my dad had a job transfer. I originally stayed in Pune for about from 2009-2013 and have been staying in Hyderabad (another job transfer) since. I play basketball and I play the guitar. I loveeeeee pizza. I’m 6 feet 2 inches, I weigh 70 kgs and now I’m just blabbering nonsense. So let’s move on!

I started blogging on April 27th, 2016 i.e. exactly one year ago. When I started blogging I was going through a really confusing part of my life. I didn’t now what I wanted to be when I grew up and there was a period where I was like I just want to watch TV show, movies and anime and some people suggested I become a critic. I guess this was just some excuse to watch some more and skip some studies but I decided to start blogging one summer vacation and I promised myself to devote at least once a week to just blogging about the stuff I like. Oh man you should’ve seen my face when I got my first view, my first like, my first follow! I was hyped! I used to try doing youtube as well. I had a channel with some friends of mine, it was called FLM Gaming. You would think that if you had 9-10 people working on one gaming channel you could get content out every single day. That wasn’t the case for us. I realized we lacked the seriousness and dedication. I needed a goal and something that proved that I can focus on something. That’s the reason I started this blog. ed in a specific job or in this case ‘hobby’, I wanted to start doing something serious, something I dedicated myself to and so I took up blogging as a summer job. I kept it mostly a secret except to a few close friends just to see how far I can reach out without the publicity. Well ya, it’s 13 followers (hehe). So I guess I am gonna start publicizing this blog to get more people and see how I actually am at this blogging thing. I don’t know/use really complicated and big words ’cause I honestly don’t even know them. But what I do know is that I have fallen in love with blogging. Irrespective of tests, exams, studies, work, I blog at least once or twice a week.

 

I love anime. I love movies and I love TV shows. That’s the reason I started this blog. I have started trying to get my priorities straight. Before this whole blogging thing, for a long 8-10 years I wanted to be a heart surgeon ad hearing that I didn’t want to be that anymore made some close people sad. So I got to some thinking and realized that if there’s anything I want to be serious about, I gotta go get it. So I no longer have the dream to become some critic or blogger but it’s to become a heart surgeon. I love blogging! I love the interaction with fellow bloggers! Thinking that I have been doing this for a whole year now really excites me and makes me realize that I can be ‘goal-oriented’. I can’t wait to blog more and more and see the support grow on the blog.

 

The last year has truly been an amazing experience. I really enjoy watching all sorts of stuff and being able to put my views out there for the people to see and enjoy.If anything, I am truly grateful that I started this blog. I am currently writing a manga and am gonna be writing some short stories on another blog for people to read and enjoy. I have amazing friends and family who support me in everything.
