Review:

It saddens me to say that the anime for this season are finally coming to an end. With Tokyo Ghoul, Seven Deadly Sins, Yowamushi Pedal, Sword Art Online and Shokugeki No Soma out of the way, it is soon becoming time to get back to the usual Boruto, one piece grind.

This season was another surprise in the way of a great, great season. We are given a completely new story line with new, crazy strong enemies and some fantastic fights. We also see that the anime didn’t fail to keep up with its’ story while also displaying the fights and all the drama.

We see different sides to every single one of our beloved Seven Deadly Sins and are shown the final sin, Escanor, as well. Let me be the first to say that Escanor and Hawk are definitely the cutest characters in the anime and Escanor blows my mind in every single one of his fights.

I loved the whole concept of bringing Meliodas slowly closer to his past along with those who fought alongside and against him. The anime is truly a very surprising one in the sense of what goes on throughout its’ duration. We are shown so much information and we get to see Meliodas go pretty insane.

There is a lot to learn about the Seven Deadly Sins in this season for each and every character. I am glad the didn’t finish the season with the 10 commandments losing and kept something for the audience to wait for in season 3.

I’m also glad that they left the strongest people for the end and really created a nice, mellow character for Meliodas by showing more of his soft side. It really reminded me of a type of Kaneki that didn’t wish to become a ghoul (in comparison to Meliodas not wanting to become a demon).

I can’t wait to see what future episodes hold in store for us. Overall great!

Rating:

I would give this season of the anime 3.5/5 stars.
